Our Data Migration service will be undertaken by an experienced botanist with in-depth knowledge of the database and the system.
Cleaning of your current data is included in the service.
When we migrate your data to IrisBG, you can still use your current system, but you cannot add or change any records during this process.
- Our aim is to make the migration as short as possible by careful planning and in-advance review of your data.
- Extensive experience in migrating both commercial and user defined databases.
- Depending on your collection size, data complexity and quality the migration usually takes 5-10 working days.
- Data cleaning is very important for us and we strive to do as much as possible within the agreed migration period.
- Taxonomy will be updated to the APG IV classification (genera and above).

- Our free 60 days trial software allows staff to become familiar with IrisBG before you make your transition.
- A context sensitive Reference Guide is integrated in the system.
- Free support is included in the annual fee. We also offer training courses at an additional cost.
- IrisBG forum is accessed with the same login as for the Knowledge Library.
Simple installation
Installation of IrisBG can be carried out by your own IT staff or by contractors.

- Installation of the database should be followed up and verified regarding security and backups.
