Services

The IrisBG team offers services that help your institution succeed with its collection data. Request training for you and your team, consultancy on how to organise your records and other collection management related questions, creation of custom basemaps and help migrating data from existing systems.

Data migration from current and old digital records

  • Check for taxonomic consistency (not the same as verification)
  • Organize collection data into single or multiple collections
  • Format existing data for import into IrisBG
  • Convert spatial data from one coordinate reference system to another
  • Migrate data from other computer systems to SQL Server (DOS, GIS, Access, FileMaker Pro, and others)

Creation of custom basemaps

  • Work from existing GIS files to update a Web map for use in IrisBG
  • Create a GIS basemap from existing drawings or CAD data
  • Start from scratch to design a custom basemap
